Lockdown will not take place in these 9 districts of Gujarat even after 3rd May, rules will be strict, know which districts are included?
Ahmedabad: The Narendra Modi government at the Center will give concessions in some districts after the completion of the second phase of lockdown across the country on May 3, while no concessions will be granted in some districts. The Modi government has divided the corona-affected districts of the country into red, orange and green zones. Of these, lockdowns will be strictly enforced in the red zone and no exemption will be granted. As per the advisory issued by the Central Government, as 9 districts of Gujarat are in the red zone, there will be no exemption.
Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Banaskantha, Panchmahal, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar and Aravalli are the nine districts of Gujarat which are in the red zone. The Modi government at the Center has decided that the lockdown in the green zone districts will be eased and maximum concessions will be given. There are only 5 such districts in Gujarat.
As Morbi, Amreli, Porbandar, Junagadh and Devbhoomi Dwarka are five districts of Gujarat in the green zone, lockdown will be removed in these districts while lockdown will continue in other districts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently discussed the matter with all the state chief ministers. Modi had a video conference with the health minister and health secretary of each state by the team of Kovid 19 and the health team of the center to get a glimpse of Corona's condition in the state. The Coronation Districts are then divided into Red, Orange and Green Zones.
