State Government Circular on Fee Relief: ‘Private schools will charge only tuition fees, fees will not be increased in the year 20-21, parents will be able to pay fees conveniently, no penalty if there is any delay’
Private schools will not be able to charge fees for any extracurricular activities or alternative activities
All schools in the state will have to provide 25 per cent relief in fees for the year 2019-20
The state government's education department has issued one more circular on fees. That said, it will not be possible to increase fees in schools during the year 2020-21. In case of delay in payment of fees, no penalty can be levied from the school / guardian / student.
Amount of all fees for the second semester of the academic year 2018-20 (if any) as well as 50% amount of the fees as decided in section no. 4,1 of the first semester of the current academic year 2020 - 2021 , It will be desirable to repay by 2020. But if in unusual circumstances any parent is unable to pay the fee within the time limit, if they make a representation to the school administrator with reasons, the school administrator will have to take a decision based on the case-to-face merits and demerits and bring a positive redressal of the representation.
