State Government Circular on Fee Relief: ‘Private schools will charge only tuition fees, fees will not be increased in the year 20-21, parents will be able to pay fees conveniently, no penalty if there is any delay’

Private schools will not be able to charge fees for any extracurricular activities or alternative activities
All schools in the state will have to provide 25 per cent relief in fees for the year 2019-20

The state government's education department has issued one more circular on fees. That said, it will not be possible to increase fees in schools during the year 2020-21. While private schools will only be able to charge tuition fees. No extracurricular activities or alternative activities will be charged. In addition, all schools in the state will have to provide 25 per cent relief in fees for the year 2020-2021.

If any guardian has paid the 'fee' for such alternative activities / facilities, then such additional amount will have to be reimbursed against the fee to be charged to the guardian in the near future, સ્વ All self-employed persons in the state Dependent schools will only be able to charge tuition fees. 3.1 For the academic year 2020-21, in the previous academic year 2019-2020, in the tuition fee fixed by the concerned 'Fee Regulation Committee' in the letters mentioned in (2) and (2) in the letters given by all the concerned boards. All self-reliant schools will have to provide 3% relief for the pursuit of consent. That is 5% of the 'tuition fee' fixed by the concerned fee regulation committee of the state for the academic year 2019-2020 in the academic year 2020-21 can be recovered from the parents of all the self-reliant schools. The parents will be able to pay the fee amount on monthly basis or in the lump sum in the academic year 2020/2021 at their convenience. In case of delay in payment of fees, no penalty can be levied from the school / guardian / student. 

Amount of all fees for the second semester of the academic year 2018-20 (if any) as well as 50% amount of the fees as decided in section no. 4,1 of the first semester of the current academic year 2020 - 2021 , It will be desirable to repay by 2020. But if in unusual circumstances any parent is unable to pay the fee within the time limit, if they make a representation to the school administrator with reasons, the school administrator will have to take a decision based on the case-to-face merits and demerits and bring a positive redressal of the representation. W. The resolution will apply to all self-reliant schools in Gujarat affiliated to the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, CBSE, ICSE, IB and other boards.

Apart from this, private schools will also have to provide 25 per cent relief in tuition fees. Apart from this, the state government has taken a decision in the interest of the parents due to the economic crisis caused by the Koro epidemic. The government has told schools that parents will be able to pay fees at their convenience. It will not be able to take penalty if it is delayed.

Earlier, the deadline for payment of fees was October 31
Earlier, the education minister had said that schools would not be able to charge fees for transport, library, computer and sports activities. The education minister has requested the parents to pay the fees by October 31.
